JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA QC Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Fit Out and General Building Contracting industry. Must be in KSA With Transferable iqama This role will focus on ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained throughout our projects. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to excellence, playing a crucial role in delivering exceptional results and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor adherence to quality standards, identifying non-conformities and recommending corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to facilitate effective communication regarding quality issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Prepare and review quality documentation including inspection and test plans, method statements, and quality control reports.
- Conduct material inspections and testing to verify compliance with project specifications, ensuring that all materials used meet the required standards.
- Participate in the preparation of quality-related reports and documentation for project stakeholders, highlighting key findings and areas for improvement.
- Assist in training and mentoring project teams on quality management practices, fostering a culture of quality throughout the organization.
- Monitor and analyze quality metrics and trends to identify opportunities for process improvements and enhance overall project performance.
- Stay updated with industry best practices, regulations, and standards related to quality assurance and quality control in the construction sector.
- Support the project team in achieving quality objectives, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards and within budgetary constraints.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.- Minimum of 4 years of experience in quality assurance and quality control within the construction industry, preferably in fit out and general building contracting Companies.
- Must be in KSA With Transferable iqama
- Strong understanding of quality management systems, ISO standards, and industry best practices.
- Proficient in using quality control tools and techniques, including statistical analysis and inspection methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with quality management software.
- Knowledge of local regulations and standards applicable to construction projects in Saudi Arabia is an advantage.
- Fluency in English is required
