Title: QA/QC Instrument Engineer

KBR is looking for a QA/QC Instrument Engineer to carry out technical and supervisory responsibilities based on knowledge of international standards and codes related to mechanical works in accordance with the organizationu2019s standard.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and follow up instrumentation progress of works, installation, and commissioning of different units.
• Plan and control the inspection of all instrumentation works and related activities.
• Experience in testing and commissioning of instrumentation works.
• Monitor the final inspection of completed instrumentation works before handing over to the client.
• Review instrumentation shop drawings and vendor drawings for compliance with contract documents.
• Review instrumentation materials submittals for compliance with contract documents.
• Review instrumentation specifications and calculations for conformance with contract documents.
• Implement the SATORP instrumentation quality assurance plan.
• Review as-built drawings of instrumentation work, operation and maintenance manuals, and warranty.
• Ensure compliance with all safety procedures.
• Encourage reporting of unsafe acts and conditions.
• Comply with all SHE procedures prior to commencement and during work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree holder in engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 8 yearsu2019 experience in oil and gas maintenance.
• Strong technical understanding of maintenance jobs related to quality assurance.
• Well organized and proactive with excellent communication skills.
• Proven leadership skills with large organizations.
• Maturity of judgment under pressure and ability to resolve problems.
• Strategic management skills.
