We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Saudi National QA/QC MEP Engineer to join our team. The Quality Assurance/Quality Control MEP Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring that all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems within our projects meet the highest quality standards and conform to relevant regulations and standards. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in MEP systems and possess exceptional attention to detail.
Your new role, what's involved?
• Quality Assurance (QA):
- Develop and implement QA plans and procedures for MEP systems.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Review and approve MEP installation and testing procedures.
- Verify and document the installation and performance of MEP systems.
- Identify and report non-conformities and recommend corrective actions.
• Quality Control (QC):
- Oversee the QC process for MEP systems throughout the project lifecycle.
- Inspect MEP equipment, materials, and workmanship to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Maintain a comprehensive QC documentation system, including records of inspections, tests, and reports.
- Collaborate with project teams to implement and track corrective actions.
- Ensure that the installation and testing of MEP systems are in compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• MEP System Expertise:
- Provide technical expertise in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems.
- Review and evaluate MEP design and construction documents.
- Identify design and installation issues and suggest improvements.
- Support the resolution of MEP-related technical challenges.
• Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure that all MEP activities meet local and international codes and standards.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive quality reports to project stakeholders.
- Monitor and document project progress and identify areas requiring corrective action.
- Participate in project meetings to provide updates on QA/QC activities.
• Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve QA/QC issues.
- Provide training and guidance to project team members on QA/QC best practices.
- Foster a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement within the organization.
Requirements:
We'd love to hear from you if you have:• Saudi National with valid citizenship and identity documents.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in QA/QC for MEP systems in construction projects.
• Thorough knowledge of local and international MEP codes and standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Certifications related to QA/QC in MEP engineering are a plus.
