Description
Apt Resources is seeking a QHSE Engineer (Quality, Health, Safety and Environment) to join our client’s team in the power solutions sector. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental standards across the organization’s operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor QHSE policies, procedures, and programs in line with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections, risk assessments, and audits to ensure workplace safety and quality compliance.
- Coordinate incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action plans.
- Promote a strong safety culture through employee training and awareness programs.
- Ensure compliance with relevant ISO standards and environmental regulations.
- Prepare reports and maintain documentation related to QHSE performance and compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in a QHSE role, preferably in the power generation or related industries.
- Familiarity with ISO standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
- Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Certification in QHSE or related areas is an advantage.
