JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Aquila Consulting are working in partnership with a major Engineering Consultancy, seeking an experienced Facility Manager with a strategic background in FM implementation to join their team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and strategic direction of facility management services for their clients. This role requires a deep understanding of facility management best practices, a proven track record in strategic FM implementation, and exceptional leadership skills.
• Strategic FM Planning: Develop and implement strategic facility management plans that align with the clients' objectives and long-term goals.
• Operational Oversight: Provide leadership and guidance to the facility management team to ensure the efficient and effective operation of all facilities.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their needs, addressing concerns, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality FM services.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage facility budgets, including cost control, expense forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors and contractors to ensure the delivery of services and maintenance that meet quality and cost standards.
• Compliance and Regulations: Stay up-to-date with local, state, and federal regulations related to facility management and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
• Sustainability Initiatives: Drive sustainability initiatives to reduce energy consumption, minimize environmental impact, and promote eco-friendly practices.
• Emergency Response: Develop and implement emergency response plans, ensuring the safety and security of all facility occupants.
• Asset Management: Implement strategies for effective asset management, including maintenance schedules, lifecycle planning, and asset tracking.
• Performance Metrics: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly evaluate the performance of facility management services against established benchmarks.
• Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in facility management, with a focus on strategic FM implementation.
• Professional certifications in facility management (e.g., CFM, FMP) preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in facility management software and tools.
• In-depth knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Must speak Arabic
