JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Immediate Supervisor: CFO
Reviewer: CFO

Main Responsibility: Provides leadership to the day-to-day operations of the sales department, while maintaining focus on the company’s strategic goals.

General Tasks:
- Analyze sales statistics to determine business growth potential.
- Establishes performance goals for all sales department employees, and monitors performance on a continual basis.
- Oversees all hiring, training and firing of personnel involved in Sales and Marketing.
- Develops, or participates with the Senior Staff, in the development of the Strategic Marketing Plan for the Company.
- Directs department(s) to achieve objectives established in the Company’s Strategic Plan.
- Coordinates sales operations with all other departments/divisions of the Company.
- Develop and implement an effective strategic sales plan.
- Lead and influence a successful and experienced team of Showroom managers.
- Monitor, analyze sales and market trends.
- Responsible for managing and controlling the sales budget
- Effectively execute and manage every element of the sales process on an individual level and build a top notch retail sales team;
- Responsible for driving revenue and use learning’s from that experience to refine sales processes and to build an appropriate team;
- Attract, retain, train, and motivate a diverse sales force;
- Focus on actual sales, profitability, and growth percentage within the business unit.

REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor's degree in a business related field. MBA is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a sales management capacity in the retail industry.
- Excellent English written & Spoken
- Very Good Arabic written & Spoken

Computer Skills:
- Basic MS Office – word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Knowledgeable of ERP System (POS), HR Software

Competencies required:
- Must have good understanding of mass markets.
- Knowledge of inventory systems
- Proven leadership ability to influence, develop, and empower employees to achieve objectives with a team approach.
- Make strategic decisions.
- Planning of budgets
- Time management.
