Obstetrics and Gynecology (Labor and Delivery, Oncology, Antenatal and Post Partum wards); Oncology, Neonatal ICU, Operating Rooms, Ambulatory Care Center, Home Health Care Program, VIP Wards, Royal Suite, College of Medicine and Nursing College.

PATIENT POPULATION:

STAFF PATIENT RATIO:1 staff nurse to manage 3 patients
HOURS OF OPERATION:
07 00 - 19 00
Saturday to Thursday
Two dialysis shifts

NUMBER OF DIALYSIS STATIONS PER CENTER AND OCCUPANCY RATE:

SESSIONS PER MONTH: +/-2200

PRIMARY PATIENT DIAGNOSES:
End Stage Renal Failure - Chronic - associated with Diabetes Mellitus, Malignant Hypertension, Inherited Renal Disorders, Auto-Immune disorder. Cardiovascular disease

PROCEDURES:
Conventional Bicarbonate Hemodialysis, Online Hemodiafiltration,
Single Needle Dialysis, Sodium and Ultrafiltration profiling and Isolated
Ultrafiltration
Care of and cannulation of arteriovenous fistula or arteriovenous graft
Care of exit site tunneled catheter and connection via tunneled catheter
Providing Basic Life Support/ Advanced Cardiac Life Support
Quality Improvement Monitoring Projects (QIP) - anaemia
management, mineral bone disease, infection prevention and control,
dialysis adequacy and vascular access
Monitoring water treatment and hemodialysis machine
Laboratory blood drawing
Administering intravenous iron infusion and blood transfusion
Point of care glucose monitoring
Conducting 12 lead ECG

Requirements
Education: Diploma in Nursing - E
Registered Nurse with current Nursing license- E
Work Experience: Two (2) years current clinical experience in
specific area of practice - E
Specific certification as required in area of assignment - E
English Language Skills: Level I - Essential
Computer Skills:: Proficient - E
