Overview

Hawiyah NGL Plant (HNGL) is looking to hire a Reliability Engineer to join the plant to work with Maintenance Division.

HNGL is a facility designed to process Haradh and Hawiyah Gas Plants mixed sales gas streams to extract recoverable NGL#s for use as a feedstock for the petrochemical industries in Jubail and Yanbu industrial cities. HNGL contains several process units including gas treating, NGL recovery, mercury removal, Gas compression and heat recovery systems for energy efficiency.

Hiring of experienced engineer will assure the continuity of providing technical support and work guidance to our young Engineers, ensuring proper plant maintenance, effective analysis, inspection and troubleshooting of rotating equipment. In addition, mentorship program and training for Saudi Young Engineers will be strongly available.

Key Responsibilities

Handle Life Cycle Asset Management process of new assets. Participate in developing design and installation specifications with commissioning plans. Develop acceptance test and inspection criteria. Participate in the final check of new installation. Lead efforts to ensure reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, utilities, controls, and safety systems. Define, design, develop, monitor and refine an Asset Maintenance Plan (preventive maintenance tasks, Effective utilization of predictive and other non-destructive testing methodologies designed to manage reliability problems). Participate in Risk Management Plan development in reliability-related, and non-reliability-related risks that could adversely impact plant operation. Develop engineering solutions to repetitive failures and all other problems that adversely affect plant operations.

Aware of data analysis techniques (Statistical Process Control, Reliability modeling and prediction, Fault Tree Analysis, Weibull Tree Analysis, Six Sigma (6?). Provide technical support to production, maintenance management and technical personnel. Apply value analysis to repair/replace, repair/redesign, and make/buy decisions. Support vibration technicians in conducting vibration checks and frequency in EMP and trends analysis. Analyze vibration and machine performance data and issue recommendations. Meet daily with the asset OME team to follow up on equipment condition and direct actions as necessary. Be the central contact person responsible for any critical or major equipment trouble shooting or failure analysis. Lead meetings and collect all information necessary (process, vibration, assembly, etc.) to complete investigations. Review machinery repair procedures and work scopes in coordination with the workshops.

Calculate and update the monthly and YTD asset KPI's. Issue reliability program monthly report (MTBF, bad actors, etc) updating the equipment health progress, and reporting failures and successes. Establish asset's Fault analysis data base ensuring all data, drawings, and information are complete and all modifications are updated. Utilize SAP-FRACAS to document and track unreliability events and reliability improvements opportunities including: Trip at equipment, system or train levels, Equipment failures including gas leaks and liquid spills. Process defects including process upsets, and inadequate equipment performance. Audit and support workmanship by spot checking assembly and installation of equipment for highest quality per standard procedures and that all proper tools and relevant information are utilized. Ensure that all repairs and inspection records are documented and filed properly. Assist field personnel on difficult repairs of critical rotating equipment when needed.

Mentor reliability engineers in troubleshooting, failure investigations in field and shop. Support critical/major equipment startups. Maintain equipment library including vendor information, drawings, history, and track of equipment spare parts inventory. Recommend alternatives for spare parts if not available. Provide technical information for field repair backed up with equipment history, vibration data, and process data intended for area maintenance. Randomly conduct PM spot checks to assure the quality of task scope and execution. Review the Mechanical PM Defect Report and evaluate corrective actions. Communicate with venders, suppliers and manufacturers for equipment reliability support.

REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate should hold a minimum of Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Fifteen (15) years of experience in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical Industry

Five (5) years' experience on rotating equipment including

Familiar with reliability programs such as (MTBF, bad actors, oil condition,.. etc) including SAP system or equivalent computerized systems

Certified TapRooT Analyst

Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) and TapRooT Analyst

Having hands experience as machinist as well as vibration technician knowledge
