Job description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Resident Engineer to join our Engineering Consultancy team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Resident Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the on-site construction activities of a major project, ensuring quality, and adherence to specifications, schedule, and budget. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in engineering, excellent project management skills, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams.

Responsibilities:
• Providing technical reviews at all phases from design development, bidding and contract development, construction phase and up to completion.
• Performs engineering assignments involving the development, execution, supervision, and coordination of construction.
• Maintain quality assurance to confirm that the installation of all work in accordance with the plans, specifications, and industry standards.
• Monitors material procurement and deliveries to ensure timeliness in support of construction activities and schedules within the assigned discipline.
• Ensures that materials received meet specifications and established standards of quality.
• Ensuring that the environmental impact of the project is being considered and well managed.
• Resolving problems and issues that arise during construction.
• Ensure tests and inspections are performed, witnessed, and documented in accordance with approved procedures.
• Collaborates with construction management to eliminate any hazards associated with the work that may adversely affect the environment or the safety or health of employees.
• Review and interpret discipline design drawings and specifications to ensure the current revision level and correct technical execution of the work.
• Provide resolution for technical engineering problems within the assigned discipline.
• Prepare, coordinate, and follow up on the punch list.
• Attend & coordinate final inspection, testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Resolving/justifying additional work compensation.
