Overview

Saudi Aramco is seeking for an experienced hand on Mechanical Engineer to work in Mechanical Services Shops Department / Planning and Technical Services Division having hands on experience in manufacturing industry. Candidate should have excellent experience in understanding and reviewing manufacturing drawings of spare parts used in automotive, drilling and or rotating equipment industry. Candidate must have experience in using manufacturing machines and tools in including relevant software application i.e CAMworks, MasterCam, Siemens NX etc. Candidate with experience in reverse engineering field is highly preferable who is familiar with different software such as Solid Work, Geomagic Design X and Polyworks. In addition, he/she should have experience in 3D printing. Last but not the least candidates must have the ability to train and develop other young engineers.

MSSD has state-of-the-art workshops and facilities that are driven by our most valuable asset, which is the department's skilled and experienced workforce. Its primary responsibility is to maintain Saudi Aramco's rotating and stationary equipment. The department plays a vital role in the company as it provides support to all field organizations by maintaining and repairing corporate equipment. Once qualified for the position you will be at the heart of one of the most advanced energy companies around the globe.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide consultation in all aspects of normal and emergency manufacturing procedures and standards.
- Provide technical support for material that needs to be utilized for parts manufacturing and review manufacturing drawing.
- Support installation, maintenance and repair of rotating equipment.
- Troubleshoot, repair, modify existing equipment, reverse engineering and Identify cost reductions & process improvements.
- Introduce the latest technology in repair methodology.
- Ability to design engineering manufacturing packages.
- Provide coaching and knowledge sharing to Junior Engineers.
- Participate in vendor and customer exchange meetings
- Participate in standards value engineering.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of Seven years' hands on experience in Mechanical Manufacturing field as stipulated above under position description. Candidate must have the following field experience requirements:

Experience in manufacturing with OEM (original equipment manufacturing) facility such as, Flowserve, Sulzer, ITT gold, GE-Nuovo Pignone, Elliott, Dresser-Rand, Clarke.

Experience in the mechanical manufacturing design, drawing and parts manufacturing of oil and gas rotating equipment such as gas compressors, steam turbine and pump and gearbox.

Must have good communication skills in English speaking, reading and writing.
