JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

JOB SUMMARY AND PURPOSE
Responsible for developing dashboards and risk registers for a) operational subsidiaries, operational assets, and operational enablers, including hospitality and non-hospitality activities, and b) Systemic Operations Risk Profile.

This role aims to ensure adequate integration and consolidation of the risks from the operational assets to the operations systemic level.

SCOPE OF SUPERVISION
Supervision of the preparation of Operational assets and Operations risk registers (including risk identification, assessment, treatment, and monitoring plans) and ensure they are in line with the adopted policies & procedures and standards. This shall be executed in coordination and collaboration with all Operations teams and under the supervision of the Associate Operations Risk Director.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Participate in setting the goals, initiatives & plans and monitor their execution;
2. Manage day-to-day activities & operations, including implementation of all policies & procedures and recommend potential improvements where appropriate;
3. Assist in the development and management of financial and human resource requirements (annual budget); and
4 Manage, guide & support employees in the execution of their work and develop them to improve performance.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1. RM Framework
• Support developing and maintaining Operations RM policies, Processes & Procedures and ensure integration & alignment between the Operations Division;
• Roll-out upon gaining the approval of the Associate Operations Risk Director the approved implementation plan for Operations;
• Oversee the implementation of the approved recommended mitigations related to Operations and operational assets;
• Provide aggregated view of risks related to overall Operations Mega Processes;
• Develop systemic Operations risk profile; and
• Assume the role of Operations Risk Panel (ORP) Secretariate.
2. Risk Identification, Prioritization and Treatment
• Review all the operational assets risks identified and ensure all material risks are properly consolidated at the operations systemic level and escalated to the Associate Operations Risk Director;
• Engage Corporate, Projects Delivery and Development risk teams to ensure proper and effective transfer of risks across the value chain risk owners;
• Engage the Operations teams in discussions regarding events that could lead to potential losses or missed opportunities;
• Run and facilitate the operations risk assessment workshops / meetings;
• Facilitate the development of the risk treatment plans with the risk owners
• Review the consolidated operations risk treatment strategies and identify improvement areas that could be adopted at the enterprise level for better utilization of company resources.
3. Monitoring and Reporting
• Prepare dashboards and monitor compliance and effectiveness of the RM processes & procedures within RSG Operations and report on results.
• Monitor implementation timeliness and effectiveness of the consolidated Operational risk treatment Plans and strategy;
4. Training and Communication
• Identify risk training needs
• Develop and deliver training for the Risk Champions to raise RM awareness;
• Recommend to the Associate Operations Risk Director the awareness messages (i.e., emails, brochures, screen savers, etc.) to be delivered to the business; and
• Share risk practices knowledge and best practices with the ERM function.

REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATIONAL & PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Risk Management.
• Certification in Risk Management from a well-renowned international body (i.e., IIA, IRM, OCEG)

Language Skills:
• English written and verbal language skills

Experience:
• 7 to 10 years of assurance experience (Risk Management, Internal Audit, or Compliance) in hospitality, asset management, or consulting firm.
