JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
- Knowledge of roads construction related to all faces of construction.
- Responsible for the construction effort through the supervision of superintendents and site engineers
- Manage and achieve the maximum utilization of equipment, logistics, zoning and phasing of work
- Coordinate subcontractor, superintendent and site engineer activities to ensure orderly and efficient completion of work.
- Support activities of the HS&E Plan and procedures and attends toolbox meetings. Provide support to H&S Officers on the site
- Supervise activities of Construction Supervisors and provides priorities where necessary
- Support the Project Manager to ensure timely completion against schedule and makes detailed evaluations and recommendations to increase resources to improve performance where required
- Build and maintain a positive working relationship with the subcontractors and project stakeholders. Attends subcontractor coordination meetings, Operating Company coordination meetings and other related meetings
- Assist the Project Manager in the preparation and submission of weekly and monthly reports.
- Responsible to maintain daily, weekly and monthly reports for all the site activities
REQUIREMENTS
- A Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years experience from which at least 3 years gulf experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and MS Project.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD will be a plus point
- Knowledge of any design program(s) will be a plus point
- Very good English language is a must
