Alfanar Construction is classified as a Grade I contractor by the Contractors Classification Committee of the Government of Saudi Arabia.
Alfanar Building Systems manufactures and markets a variety of building construction products and systems.
The core manufacturing activities of the industries operating under Alfanar Building Systems are:
- Ceramic wall and floor tiles
- Façade cladding, glazing systems and architectural aluminum products
- Precast concrete products and architectural elements
- Office and home furniture and interior décor products
Job Purpose
To align business goals with strategic initiatives, monitoring progress, and making necessary adjustments to ensure the organization stays on track, thereby enhancing oversight of the achievement of company strategies and operational excellence.
Key Accountability Areas
Strategy and Formalization Management:
- Prepare the primary template of the annual business plan for business and service units.
- Formalize meeting agendas including committees and working groups criteria activation.
- Review and authorize the minutes of meetings after the meetings.
- Review and present meeting minutes and pending or due actions with the Business Planning and Development Manager and the top management.
- Ensure uploading, publishing, and archiving meeting agendas and minutes with supported files and documents.
Project and Business Plan Tracking:
- Ensure following-up for the consistency and tracking the progress of projects and annual business plans.
- Ensure tracking and reporting the progress of approved plans and projects in terms of timeline and accuracy.
- Ensure applying the required modifications to annual business plans to proceed for final approval.
- Manage achievement for the approved annual plan as soft and hard copy.
Reporting and Dashboards:
- Monitor dashboards for all activities related to business and service units.
- Analyze and create a monthly report to the management for each business or services unit.
- Provide supportive ideas to develop sales, operations, and financial reports with related tools and mechanisms, to effectively monitor.
Task and Decision Management:
- Register and present the tasks and decisions.
- Review, follow up, and update the status of actions taken.
- Intervene in case of departmental cross plans and solve conflicts between departments during plan execution.
Working Groups and Committees Activation:
- Study, propose and establish different working groups between correlated parties to control consistent processes and results.
- Set an initial calendar for reviewing and evaluating the annual business plans with the related committee or top management.
- Prepare and publish internal special tasks, projects, and committees' activation memos.

- Ensure availability of delegation of authority matrix to have sufficient delegations as per company policy.

- Must take full responsibility for his operation as per the job description and the required deliverables from this position, taking into consideration the general company guidelines.
- Able to anticipate problems and make the necessary proactive steps to prevent them.
- Ability to take necessary and proper timely decisions.

- Deliver the required results in a timely manner with required quality and cost.
- Must make a tangible difference to his area of operation and exceed business expectations.
Business Planning and Performance:
- Able to transform the corporate goals into business plans.
- Able to plan, follow-up and execute those plans, whether they are annual or development plans.
- Monitor the plan performance and initiate action to strengthen results and take the corrective action accordingly.
- Provide periodic work progress reports.
- Responsible for monitoring and controlling budgets and expenses to achieve optimum cost efficiency.
Organizational Development:
- Develop the organizational structure according to the current requirements taking into consideration future and development plans.
- Ensure availability of job descriptions for all job roles and deployment.
Business Process Improvements:
- Develop and coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automation opportunities as much as possible.
- Should be conversant and able to navigate through IT solutions especially those relevant to his job and business.
- Promote the automated systems and use them fully, to spread its culture.
Quality:
- Quality is considered as Alfanar's prime competitive advantage; as such, managers are expected to act accordingly.

- Adapt to new and alternative techniques, technologies, management structures, and business models.

Academic Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration
