JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
At MMJS Consulting, we are looking for a Senior Accountant to oversee accounting operations, manage financial reporting, ensure compliance, and provide strategic support in maintaining accurate and timely financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage all accounting transactions including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Transactions
• Ensure compliant issuance of invoices to customers on a timely basis;
• Ensure compliance of invoices from suppliers / vendors;
• Manage Accounts payable and receivable books, and ensure timely follow-up on payments.
• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements;
• Reconciliation of Bank Accounts with Accounting Books;
• Maintaining Fixed Asset tracker;
• Assist in the Annual Audit of the Financial Statements;
• Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
• Prepare weekly and monthly MIS and financial statements and account closing;
• Preparation of Tax Compliance Documents and reports and timely submission of the various tax returns;
• Comply with financial policies and regulations;
• Compare P&L vs. budget, annotate variances, and circulate commentary;
• Provide any additional finance or operational support required by management.
Requirements:
• Demonstrated mastery of double entry bookkeeping and financial analysis.• Proficiency in Zoho Books (or equivalent ERP) and advanced MS?Excel.
• Sound understanding of KSA VAT, WHT and Tax Compliance.
• Strong communication, follow up, and vendor/client management skills.
• Ability to multitask, meet strict deadlines, and operate effectively in a remote setup.
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Immediate joiner preferred.
• 2 - 4 years of accounting experience.
