Senior Civil Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our team in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the oil and gas industry and will be responsible for leading and managing civil engineering projects from conception to completion.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage civil engineering projects in the oil and gas industry, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and project teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, structural engineers, and project managers to ensure successful project delivery
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure quality and safety standards are met
- Prepare and review engineering designs, drawings, and specifications
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively
- Participate in the procurement process for construction materials and equipment, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality

REQUIREMENTS

- Masters degree in Civil Engineering or related field (or 4 year equivalent)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on oil and gas projects
- Proven track record of successfully leading and managing civil engineering projects from start to finish
- In-depth knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations related to civil engineering in the oil and gas sector
- Strong technical and analytical skills, with proficiency in engineering software and tools
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills would be a plus
