JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Commercial Associate with a focus on Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial law, with a specific emphasis on TMT sector. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to high-profile and impactful projects within a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage commercial transactions within the TMT sector, including drafting and negotiating contracts, licensing agreements, and other commercial arrangements.
- Provide legal advice and support on regulatory compliance, data protection, intellectual property, and other TMT-related legal matters.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to identify and mitigate legal risks associated with TMT projects and initiatives.
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure the organization's compliance and strategic positioning within the TMT sector.
- Assist in business development efforts by participating in client meetings, preparing proposals, and contributing to the expansion of the TMT practice.
Salary:
SAR
45,000 to 65,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
REQUIREMENTS
- Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent degree from a reputable law school. LLM in Technology, Media, and Telecommunications law is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial law with a focus on TMT sector, gained at a reputable law firm or in-house legal department.
- Proven track record in handling complex commercial transactions, negotiations, and regulatory matters within the TMT industry.
- In-depth understanding of TMT sector-specific regulations, compliance requirements, and industry practices.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural and fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and spoken would be an advantage.
