Qiddiya Investment Company is at the forefront of transforming the entertainment and leisure landscape in Saudi Arabia, and we are looking for an exceptional leader to join our team as a Senior Director - Governance & Reporting, where you'll play a vital role in our development management team meeting initiatives across various projects in the dynamic hospitality sector. In this exciting position, you will be instrumental in establishing and maintaining robust governance control mechanisms and reporting processes that support sound decision-making and strategic objectives across our diverse projects.
Your expertise will ensure that our governance project controls and reporting are aligned with best practices, comply with internal processes and procedure requirements, ensuring that the departments provide transparency and accountability in all our operations. You will lead a talented team while collaborating closely with various stakeholders to enhance reporting capabilities and drive organizational performance and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Implement and oversee a comprehensive framework of governance controls and reporting across all projects.
- Lead the preparation of insightful project and operational reports that inform management decisions and support strategic planning.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, processes, and procedures, whilst maintaining the integrity of the business unit through regular reporting.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting mechanisms to evaluate project performance and alignment with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement continuous improvement initiatives in governance and reporting processes.
- Manage production of monthly business unit reports and present them to the senior leadership team and stakeholder committees.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, contractors, designers, suppliers, etc.
- Manage data collection, benchmarking, and reporting.
- Liaise with the central secretariat and governance teams to report on the performance of the hospitality business unit and ensure that executive leadership is continually updated.
- Engage with senior management and stakeholders to present findings, insights, and recommendations based on analysis and reporting.
- Provide mentorship and training to staff to cultivate a culture of accountability and excellence in reporting.
- Assist with risk management and reporting.
- Look for efficiencies to improve service offering and find better ways of working.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related construction industry field.
- Certified Project Control Professional (CPCP), Project Controls Certified Practitioner (PCCP), or equivalent.
- Minimum 20+ years of experience.
