Senior Engineer - BTS (ICT And Security)

Job description

WSP in the Middle East are looking for a competent, passionate and driven senior/principal engineer (ICT & security) to step into the role of acting BTS lead on some of the region's most high-profile projects. If you bring deep expertise in security & ICT systems, a strong technical foundation, and the leadership skills to guide and manage multidisciplinary teams across mega-scale, complex programs, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Act as BTS lead, overseeing end-to-end design, development, and implementation of ICT and security systems for mega-scale projects.
• Lead, guide and review technical design of ICT and security infrastructure, ensuring compliance with global and local standards (BICSI, TIA, MOI, etc.) and client requirements.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship and design assurance for multidisciplinary teams.
• Manage the integration of ICT and security systems across complex project environments.
• Coordinate and manage multiple stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams, to ensure alignment and smooth project delivery.
• Ensure project delivery, technical compliance, and high-quality documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, ICT, systems engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of proven experience in ICT and security engineering with a track record of successfully leading large-scale or complex projects.
• Strong background in ICT and security systems, with proven experience on mega-scale projects in the region.
• Leadership capabilities to guide teams, manage stakeholders, and deliver challenging project conditions.
• BICSI certification preferred; additional ICT/security-design related professional certificates are an advantage.
• Relevant engineering or ICT degree; advanced certifications a plus.
