Our newest opportunity is for a talented Senior Engineer - Design Coordinator to join our award-winning team in Riyadh, KSA.

This role will be responsible for production, verification and assessment of technical designs, plans and associated documentation during the different stages of Infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with relevant engineering and QMS standards and project requirements. Responsible for coordination of inter-discipline design efforts, supporting the Design Manger and Project Manager

Responsibilities

We envisage success in this role to include:

- Assisting in managing and coordinating multi-discipline design teams working on infrastructure projects to ensure quality and timely input.
- Carrying out feasibility and optioneering studies.
- Developing and preparing design drawings, reports, design reports, technical and materials specifications.
- Resolving design problems using both manual and computer methods with minimal supervision.
- Assisting in obtaining design approval from authorities/agencies.
- Maintaining quality control and quality standards in all personal work output, checking computations, designs, drawings , plans, estimates and reports prepared for comprehensiveness, technical accuracy and sound application of engineering principles and standards.
- Managing activities within own field of responsibility.
- Using initiative to ensure that work processes, procedures and systems are effective and efficient.
- Resolving day-to-day problems.
- Communicating effectively at all levels to support collaborative work practices and achievement of team and project goals
- Contributes to the effective functioning of the team by identifying with and participating in the attainment of team and project objectives, communicating, and sharing knowledge.
- Managing own continuous development and support the development of colleagues.
- Maintaining Client focus in the delivery of services of the team.
- Assisting in the preparation and presenting of project reports and presentations for internal and external clients.
- Complying with all KEO process and procedure policies, ensuring the quality management plan is executed within their work.
- Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with health and safety legislation and KEO health and safety policies.
- Aligning work practices and processes with KEO Sustainability principles
- Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Qualifications

- To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envisage that you will bring a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or another Infrastructure related field. A minimum of 8 years of related experience and/or training.
- Registration at TMICE level or the equivalent thereof, is desirable.
- ICE membership at Technician Member level, or the equivalent thereof, is desirable.
- You will be expected to demonstrate detailed understanding of design, construction, and project management concepts.
- Displaying sound working knowledge and familiarity with current local and global industry practices and standards.
- You will have skills in advanced design, planning and technical skills in specialized area.
