Job purpose

Ensure that our products and services meet the highest quality standards. Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our software applications and IT systems. Develop and execute test plans, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to improve software quality.

Key accountability areas

Software testing & quality assurance:
  • Develop, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts (manual and automated).
  • Conduct functional, regression, performance, security, and usability testing.
  • Identify, track, and report software defects, ensuring they are resolved efficiently.
  • Ensure software meets business and technical requirements before deployment.
    • Automation & process improvement:
  • Implement test automation strategies and frameworks for efficiency.
  • Use automated testing tools for API, UI, and performance testing.
  • Continuously improve quality control processes, testing methodologies, and best practices.
  • Advocate for quality engineering principles across development teams.
    • Collaboration & compliance:
  • Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to define testing requirements.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Mentor junior testers and assist in knowledge sharing.

    HR proficiency:

    Ability to obtain updated soft and technical skills related to the job.

    Delivery:
  • Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
  • Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
  • Provide periodic reports detailing deviations and execution of planned tasks.
    • Problem-solving:

    Solve any related problems that arise and escalate any complex operational issues.

    Quality:

    Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products, processes, or related activities.

    Business process improvement:

    Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automation opportunities as much as possible.

    Compliance:

    Comply with related policies, procedures, and work instructions.

    Health, safety, and environment:

    Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined areas of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products and services.

    Academic qualification

    Bachelor degree in computer science or any relevant field.

    Work experience

    4 to 6 years.
