JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Our client is a leading listed manufacturing company located in Jeddah, KSA.

They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Lead to join their dynamic team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the ERM function within a manufacturing environment and will play a key role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to ensure the continued success and sustainability of our operations.

Reporting to the head of legal, the responsibilities to be:
• Develop and implement enterprise risk management strategies and initiatives tailored to the specific needs and challenges of a manufacturing environment.
• Lead and oversee the identification, assessment, and prioritization of risks across the organization, working closely with key stakeholders to ensure comprehensive risk coverage.
• Establish and maintain effective risk mitigation plans and controls, regularly monitoring and evaluating their effectiveness and making adjustments as necessary.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior management, providing expert guidance on risk management best practices, emerging threats, and opportunities to enhance the organization's risk posture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate risk management considerations into business decision-making processes, ensuring that risk is appropriately balanced with strategic objectives.
• Lead the development and delivery of comprehensive risk management training and awareness programs for employees at all levels of the organization, fostering a culture of risk awareness and accountability.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory developments, and emerging risks, proactively identifying potential impacts on the organization and recommending appropriate risk management actions.
• Prepare and present regular reports and updates on the status of enterprise risk management activities to senior leadership and the board of directors, highlighting key risk metrics, trends, and areas for improvement.

Requirements:
The job holder needs to demonstrate in-depth GRC Understanding, accordingly the job holder needs to possess hands-on experience as well as in-depth knowledge about:
• Governance, the integration of ERM farmwork with standard governance practices.
• Compliance, which means the incumbent needs to have solid and practical understanding of existing regulations as well as compliance
• Technology, GRC software tools and platforms in-line with risk management & compliance
• Integration, he needs to demonstrate a full ability to demonstrate how ERM integrate with broader GRC processes for holistic approach.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, risk management, finance, or a related field; advanced degree and relevant certifications preferred.
• Deep knowledge in leading ERM Frameworks such as (COSO, ISO 31000 etc.) is a certain MUST
• Proven track record of at least 8 years in enterprise risk management, at senior level, with significant experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Expert knowledge of risk management principles, methodologies, and best practices, with demonstrated ability to apply them in a complex organizational setting.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify, assess, and prioritize risks, as well as develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.
• Experience in developing and delivering risk management training and awareness programs is highly desirable.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and deadlines effectively.
• Sound understanding of relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards related to risk management in the manufacturing sector.
• Fluency in English is required, with proficiency in Arabic considered a strong asset but not a must
