JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are looking for a skilled Sr. Estimator Engineer with to join our team in the Oil & Gas industry in Khobar, Saudi Arabia. The Sr. Estimator Engineer will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs of projects and providing valuable input for project planning and execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimation within the Oil & Gas sector and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documents to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for accurate estimations
- Evaluate and analyze subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure competitiveness and accuracy
- Prepare and present cost estimates, budget reports, and other financial information to senior management and clients
- Contribute to the development and implementation of cost estimation processes and tools to improve accuracy and efficiency
- Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and material costs to ensure estimations are in line with current market standards
- Participate in bid reviews, negotiations, and contract preparations to secure profitable projects for the organization
- Provide support and guidance to junior estimators and contribute to their professional development

REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or related field; Master's degree is a plus
-14+ years of experience
- Proven experience as an Estimator Engineer in the Oil & Gas industry with a strong understanding of industry practices and standards
-Proven experience in Middle east
-Proven experience in FEED, PRE-FEED-DESIGN
- Solid knowledge of estimation techniques, cost control, and project management principles
-TIC estimate preparation
- Proficiency in using estimation software and tools such as CostWorks, HCSS, or similar programs
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with the ability to work with complex data and perform accurate calculations
- Strong communication and presentation abilities to effectively convey complex estimations and cost analysis to stakeholders
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment and coordinate with various departments and external partners
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in estimating project costs and resources
- Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements related to project estimation and contract management
- Professional certifications such as Certified Cost Professional (CCP) or Project Management Professional (PMP) are highly desirable
