Senior, Instrument, Low Current and Control Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

• Engineering, Design and construction of all Control, instrument, Communications and Low Current Systems in different fields such as Power generation, Water transmission, buildings, Railways, Infrastructure...etc.
• Prepare and review technical documents (such as method statement) and submit related technical documents to consultant and discuss with consultant to make them approved.
• Solve technical problems that arise on site and guide construction.
• Assist related departments to solve technical issue; Coordinate with other engineers and professionals in related fields.
• Prepare and present technical reports and presentations.
• Be responsible for electrical system optimization and value engineering.
• To complete as built drawing;
• Other works assigned by Infrastructure manager.

Requirements:
• 12-15 years’ Experience in Engineering, Design and construction of all Control, instrument, Communications and Low Current Systems in different fields such as Power generation, Water transmission, buildings, Railways, Infrastructure...etc.
• 12-15 years’ Experience in the design and construction of Control systems BMS, PLC, ITS & SCADA.
• Experience in the design and construction of filed instruments such as transmitters, switch & gauges/indictors for Flow, pressure & temperature.
• Experience in the design and construction of low current system such as Fire Alarm, CCTV, telephone, data, sound, paging, MATV, …etc.
• Implement company strategies to achieve company vision and goals.
• Teamwork and coordination with other disciplines as per design and construction requirements.
• Prepare request for quotation (RFQ) document including required drawings, Specifications and BOQ for each I&C system.
• Review Suppliers offers/quotations and provide technical evaluation report.
• Prepare detailed design including technical specification description (TSD) and installation/shop drawings.
• Attend meetings with Employer and Engineer/consultant to solve/fix any design issues up to design approval.
• Provide Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual progress reports (as required).
• Support bidding team during bidding stage for pre-Engineering, material take off (MTO)/BOQ and advise for cost (if required) for all materials related to Control, instrument, Communications and low current systems.
