JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our prestigious law firm in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in corporate law with a focus on commercial transactions, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution. Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice on a variety of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate governance.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of internal compliance programs and policies.
- Handle disputes, including arbitration and litigation, representing the firm's clients in negotiations and court proceedings.
- Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal issues relevant to the firm's practice areas.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting clients.
- Collaborate with other legal professionals within the firm, providing mentorship and support to junior associates.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent legal qualification from a recognized institution.- Minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience in a reputable law firm or legal department, with a focus on corporate law.
- Strong understanding of Saudi Arabian legal system and regulations, with international experience preferred.
- Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex legal issues into understandable terms.
- Specialization in commercial contracts, with a strong focus on mergers and acquisitions.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
Salary:
SAR
50,000 to 80,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
ABOUT THE COMPANY
Executive search involves working with a third party, such as JEX Personnel.
Executive search is relationship driven. JEX Personnel will work closely with you to understand the requirements of the role. It is a research-led approach, meaning a search firm will be paid a retainer fee upfront to carry out analyse the marketplace and benchmark for skills/roles and salaries.
