Key roles and responsibilities

• Transform our clients into data-driven enterprises and help them manage and govern data, unlock business value from data assets, and define new business models.
• Co-create with clients to shape and sell project work; architect how to use data management capabilities to drive client transformation for industry or functional use cases.
• Shape the machine learning, statistical methods, and data analytics space to address clients' business challenges using tools like Python, R, and SQL.
• Utilize statistical, algorithmic, mining, and visualization techniques, leveraging tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Tableau to model complex problems, ensuring robustness, scalability, and performance.
• Work in calibration with subordinate teams and senior management levels at a client and/or within the company, involving negotiating or influencing on significant matters.
• Identify new business opportunities, contribute to proposal development, and play a key role in the growth and expansion of the practice.
• Have an innovative and transformation mindset to identify improvement opportunities to optimize processes, decrease costs, and increase client value in your area of specialization.
• Exercise latitude in decision-making and determination of objectives and approaches to critical assignments.
• Make decisions that can have a lasting impact on the area of responsibility with the potential to impact areas outside of own responsibility.
• Mentor juniors and coach managers and junior members of the team, providing them with experiences to continually learn and grow.
• Contribute to practice development initiatives including culture building, internal community involvement, capability development, recruiting, and whitepapers.
• Lead authentically and with a people-first mindset that fosters inclusivity and celebrates diversity.

Essential qualifications

• Minimum of 13 years of consulting experience.
• Experience in two or more of the following areas: automation & analytics; big data analytics; data analytics and interpretation; data engineering; metrics and predictive analytics.
• Experience in leading teams to deliver data analytics and machine learning solutions, automation & analytics, big data analytics, data analytics and interpretation, and data engineering.
• Proficient in metrics and predictive analytics and possess problem-solving and analytic skills.
• Very strong server-side experience, especially in an open source, data-intensive distributed environment.
• Good understanding of machine learning algorithms, data structures, and performance optimization techniques.
• Arabic speaker fluent in English.

Preferred qualifications

• MBA or graduate-level degree in related field.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
• Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking capabilities.
• Ability to act independently to determine methods and procedures on assignments.
• Management of team efforts at a client or within the company.
• Ability to pull through business opportunities.
