Senior Manager Planning Policy

Description

Providing strategic planning (urban/town/regional) advice across multiple districts.
Coordinate with project leads and teams to support design evolution and project development.
Researching and designing planning policies to guide development.
Review control documents that will inform future planning assessment.
Maintain relationships with all stakeholders involved in the planning process.
Monitor the progress of approval processes and resolve delays or issues.
Maintain accurate records of submissions and correspondence.
Stay informed about changes in land use regulations, policies, and strategies at a regional, national, state, and Qiddiya City level.
Advocate for planning team by presenting data and justifications to all internal stakeholders, boards, and senior management as required.
Support with all other planning department tasks as assigned by the Director and other department members.
Mentor and support development of the planning team, promoting best practices in town planning.
Acting up when required to support the Director of Planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Geography, Urban/Spatial/Regional and Town Planning (Master's degree preferred) - mandatory.
• Must have a minimum of 7 years direct experience in preparing local/regional or national planning policy, district control plans, Area Action Plans or equivalent urban and/or regional planning policy and guidance.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex project data and make informed recommendations.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a focus on collaborative work.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and adapt to changing project conditions in a fast-paced environment.
