Senior Process Engineer

Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced senior process engineer with strong expertise in water, wastewater, and biosolids treatment. The role involves designing and optimising treatment processes, facilitating HAZOP studies, and supporting delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects in Riyadh.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities

• Lead process design for water and wastewater treatment plants (PFDs, P&IDs, mass balances, specifications).
• Deliver projects to agreed cost, quality, and schedule targets.
• Conduct HAZOP/SWIFT workshops and risk assessments.
• Support commissioning and optimisation of treatment facilities (AD, AAD, THP, liquor treatment, biogas).
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and supply chain partners.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers.

Qualifications

Qualifications & experience

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering; master's preferred.
• Chartered engineer (CEng, IChemE or equivalent).
• 15+ years in water/wastewater and biosolids engineering.
• Proven expertise in anaerobic digestion, THP, liquor treatment, and biosolids optimisation.
• Strong project management and leadership skills.
