JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Procurement Engineer specializing in FIT OUT projects to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the procurement process, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services for FIT OUT projects.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the procurement process for FIT OUT projects, including sourcing, tendering, and negotiating contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and timelines
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and subcontractors, and evaluate their capabilities and pricing
- Manage the RFQ and RFP processes, and evaluate bids and proposals to make informed procurement decisions
- Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers and subcontractors, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials and services
- Monitor and track procurement activities, including order placement, expediting, and delivery schedules
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in the procurement function
- Collaborate with the finance and legal teams to ensure proper documentation, payment terms, and risk mitigation strategies
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulations related to FIT OUT materials and services

REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain management, or a related field; Master's degree or professional certifications is a plus
- Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management, with a focus on FIT OUT projects within the construction industry
- Solid understanding of FIT OUT materials, finishes, and specialized vendors, with a strong network of suppliers and subcontractors
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex procurement processes, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, market dynamics, and legal regulations in Saudi Arabia
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools, as well as MS Office suite
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
