Aquila Consulting are working in partnership with a major Engineering Consultancy with an opening for a Senior Procurement Manager.

The Procurement Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients facility management services. This position is responsible for overseeing the procurement and supply chain activities, ensuring the availability of necessary resources, and optimizing procurement processes to meet our client's needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company's goals, cost-efficiency objectives, and sustainability initiatives.
• Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure cost-effective and high-quality goods and services.
• Supplier Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring on-time delivery and resolution of any issues or disputes.
• Budget Control: Manage and optimize procurement budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-saving measures where possible.
• Contract Management: Review, negotiate, and manage supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels and ensure adequate stock of critical supplies while minimizing excess inventory.
• Quality Assurance: Establish quality control measures and ensure that procured goods and services meet established quality standards.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation plans to minimize disruptions.
• Sustainability Initiatives: Collaborate with suppliers to support sustainability and green procurement initiatives.
• Reporting: Generate regular procurement reports, analyzing key performance indicators and making recommendations for process improvements.

Requirements:
Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Minimum of [X] years of experience in procurement, preferably in the facility management or related industry.
• Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, supplier management, and contract negotiation.
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.
• Familiarity with sustainability and green procurement practices is a plus.
• Professional certifications in procurement (e.g., CSCP, CPM) are advantageous.
