Description
Lead project control activities for large-scale oil & gas projects, ensuring cost, schedule, and risk management. Oversee planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking, while coordinating with engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project schedules (Primavera P6/MS Project) and monitor critical paths.
- Track budgets, forecasts, and cost performance; manage variances and cost control.
- Implement Earned Value Management (EVM) and risk mitigation plans.
- Prepare progress reports, dashboards, and KPI updates for management and clients.
- Coordinate project control processes with contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Mentor junior project control staff and implement best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
- 15+ years in project control for oil & gas EPC projects.
- Strong experience with scheduling and cost control tools (Primavera, SAP).
- Knowledge of EVM, risk management, and project lifecycle.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
Preferred certifications:
PMP, PSP, PRINCE2, or EVM certification.
