About Us:
We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Project Manager to join our team. As an organization dedicated to delivering excellence in project execution, we are looking for a dynamic individual to oversee the civil and structural aspects of our projects. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the successful and timely execution of these projects. This is a remote working position, and we are in search of a candidate who is comfortable with such working conditions.
Your Responsibilities:
In this role, you will take the lead in managing the civil and structural team. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing essential support, expertise, and input on civil and structural matters.
- Thoroughly reviewing engineering documents and drawings, consolidating relevant comments.
- Ensuring that civil and structural engineering deliverables comply with project requirements.
- Maintaining consistency in civil and structural engineering studies across various work packages.
- Conducting necessary studies and reports to inform technical decision-making and providing recommendations to the Delivery Director.
- Participating in technical reviews, offering solutions, and ensuring the timely implementation of approved changes.
- Regularly reporting on critical issues, both internally and externally, and suggesting corrective actions.
- Ensuring full compliance with standards, specifications, and current design practices.
Requirements:
Your Qualifications:We are looking for a professional with the following qualifications:
- A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a reputable international university.
- A minimum of 20 years of experience in civil and structural engineering, with at least 5 years in a similar position, focusing on infrastructure and construction projects.
- Ideally, you should hold a professional charter such as CEng, IEng, MICE, or MIStructE, or be actively working towards one.
- Demonstrated practical skills and experience across concept design, detailed design, and construction stages.
- Familiarity with heavy civil engineering structures, including reinforced concrete and structural steel, and knowledge of current design standards and practices.
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management abilities.
