JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

The role for a Senior Project Manager requires an individual who has managed projects from initiation, overseeing feasibility studies, taking the project through design with leading consultants, and executing the project with contractors on site until handover.

Client Details
The client is a prominent governmental developer in Riyadh, developing a portfolio of projects with assets across residential, commercial, hospitality, infrastructure and utilities, to name a few.

Description

* Preparing, developing, and ensuring the implementation of project-specific policies and procedures.
* Preparing operational plans and annual budget estimates for project activities.
* Developing and updating the project's organisational structure and ensuring its alignment with company policies and directives.
* Adopting and monitoring the implementation of project-specific initiatives and plans.
* Adopting, developing, monitoring, and evaluating performance indicators related to the implementation of the operational plan, initiatives, and projects.
* Allocating the necessary resources for the implementation of physical and human projects.
* Planning and organising project stages from design to delivery.
* Reviewing and approving project schedules and deadlines.
* Approving the allocation of necessary resources for the project and managing the project team.
* Monitoring project progress, achieving goals, and guiding changes when necessary.
* Providing regular reports to senior management and clients on project progress.
* Guiding problem-solving approaches and addressing major challenges that arise during project implementation.
* Meeting with relevant department managers, subcontractors, and consultants to coordinate critical points for each project and resolve any issues that arise
during implementation.
* Monitoring project implementation with the highest possible quality and within the approved project budget.
* Preparing periodic reports regarding project activities.
* Providing training, guidance, and support to project employees to ensure the achievement of targets and continuous improvement.
* Perform any other tasks assigned to the project within its jurisdiction.

Requirements:
* Minimum of 7 years in real estate, particularly in mega projects, with a broad range of experience in feasibility, due diligence design and development management, design management, construction and project management.
* Solid track record of driving development from initial feasibility studies through to delivery and operations of large-scale mixed-use developments
* Experience in managing and dealing with prominent third party advisors, program and project management companies, consultants, architects, operators, subcontractors, etc. ideally in the Kingdom or MENA region.
* Minimum of Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Project and Construction Management, Town Planning, Property Valuation etc.
