JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Westlakes Recruit is currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Project Manager (Highrise) to support the NEOM The Line project on a permanent basis in KSA.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Project Manager for THE LINE project, your role will include:
- Leadership & Team Management: Oversee and manage a team of Design Consultants, ensuring their scope of work is executed and delivered in alignment with project requirements.
- Design Management: Oversee design management reporting, scheduling, deliverables, and key account management for the Design Consultants. Coordinate resources and collaborate with other Engineering & Design (ED) functions.
- Project Delivery: Ensure day-to-day operations and timely, quality delivery of the assigned design package within budget constraints.
- Measurement & Compliance: Lead the measurement process, ensuring that Design Consultants fulfill their contractual obligations, covering aspects such as Design Deliverables, Safety in Design, Design to Cost, Requirements Management, Sustainability, and Innovation.
- Cross-Package Coordination: Facilitate cross-package coordination, including procurement, common resource allocation, and the management of Independent Checking Engineers (ICE) / Independent Safety Assessors (ISA).
- Procurement Collaboration: Work with THE LINE and NEOM procurement teams to drive timely procurement of design packages and support identified procurement needs.
- Digital & Schedule Alignment: Ensure digital requirements align with the P6 schedule to maintain program activity timelines.
- Dependency Management: Understand upstream and downstream impacts and dependencies of program decisions, protecting the team from interruptions and assisting in removing impediments.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify and communicate external risks, blockers, or constraints impacting the project, ensuring stakeholders and the Program Management team are kept informed.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with consultants, clients, and stakeholders to align deliverables with project requirements. Involve relevant stakeholders in decision-making and feedback processes.
- Technology Familiarity: Demonstrate a solid understanding of deployed technologies, ask pertinent questions, and participate in key decision-making processes.

Requirements:
- Experience: 20 years in Project Management, with a proven track record in the successful delivery of high-rise and complex public or private sector projects. Experience with buildings over 60 storeys is essential.- Professional Membership: Membership with APM/PMI and Chartered Project Professional (ChPP) status is desirable. Knowledge of service delivery management standards (e.g., ITIL) is beneficial.
- Education: Degree in Engineering or a technical discipline is advantageous.
- Certifications: Recognized P3M qualification (Prince2, APM PMQ, MoR, MSP), with experience in Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Management Expertise: Strong knowledge of delivery management, including governance, reporting, planning, risk/issue management, financial controls, and change management.
- Financial Acumen: Proficiency in financial controls and the ability to interpret and report financial data.
Salary:
SAR
50,000 to 58,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
