Senior Projects Manager - Construction Supervision

Job Description:

The Senior Projects Manager will lead the supervision of major construction projects from initiation through completion. He will be part of a senior member of the supervision services team (in head office and at site), work closely with his line manager for the management of supervision projects, including team management.

This role requires overseeing project teams, managing timelines, ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory standards, and maintaining alignment with project goals and budgets. The Senior Projects Manager will act as the primary point of contact between clients, contractors, and consultants. Additionally, the Senior Projects Manager will play a key role in managing client relationships and acting as the primary point of contact between clients, contractors, and consultants.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the overall supervision of construction projects, ensuring timely and on-budget completion.
• Coordinate and supervise the work of the project management team, including engineers, contractors, and consultants.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with legal, regulatory, and safety standards.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Manage client relations, provide regular project updates, and address any issues or concerns.
• Oversee the preparation and review of project schedules, reports, and documentation.
• Address project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Knowledgeable in contract documents, design plans, and specifications to ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Monitor project costs and manage change orders, variations, and claims.
• Ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
