JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

- Undertaking a wide range of tasks that fulfill our Cost Management service including pre-contract cost planning, post contract cost management; procurement and contract administration.
- Monthly Financial Reporting and Budget forecasts.
- Demonstrate strong personal presence at all stages of the project including actively seeking feedback.
- Deliver all work outputs in an accurate and timely manner.
- Reporting to a senior member of the project team, project manager, or team leader.
- Knowledge on pricing; construction; measurement and a strong ability to build up rates from first principles.
- Cost planning, quantity take-off, preparation of bills of quantities, valuations, variations and subcontract administration.

REQUIREMENTS

- Technically qualified in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management with a minimum qualification of a Diploma. Preferably Western Educated.
- Minimum 8 years quantity surveying experience within Construction industry, preferably with a Contractor.
- Commercially astute, numerate, risk averse & able to accurately forecast cost & revenue.
- Multi-tasking, self motivated, energetic team player with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
- Have good practical organization skills, planning of resources and program scheduling.
- Be able to provide both summarized and detailed reports, on current activities.
- IT literate with a working knowledge of CCS.
