As a Senior Specialist Translator will provide crucial linguistic support by accompanying management during trips and interpreting when required but also accurately translating a wide range of documents, presentations, and communications.

My client, a public sector organization is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Translator (Arabic - English) to join their team.

Description

* Translate a variety of documents, reports, policies, correspondence, and presentations accurately from Arabic to English and vice versa.
* Provide interpretation services during meetings, conferences, and official trips, ensuring effective communication between parties.
* Collaborate with various departments to ensure translation quality, consistency, and adherence to organizational standards.
* Conduct research and stay updated on terminology and specialized vocabulary relevant to the public sector.
* Assist in the preparation of bilingual materials and publications, ensuring linguistic accuracy and cultural sensitivity.

REQUIREMENTS

* Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
* Proven experience as a translator and interpreter, with a focus on Arabic and English languages.
* Native or near-native proficiency in Arabic and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
* Strong knowledge of public sector terminology, policies, and procedures.
* Experience working within government or public sector organizations is highly desirable.
