JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Job Title: Sr. Supervisor – Lifts, Escalators & Garage Doors
Department: Maintenance
Reports To: Superintendent – Lifts & Escalators
Role Purpose
Supervise and lead the maintenance team for lifts, escalators, and garage doors to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. Oversee preventive maintenance, emergency response, compliance with safety codes, and performance improvement while ensuring high service quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead, supervise, and develop maintenance teams, ensuring adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and system upgrades for lifts, escalators, and garage doors.
• Implement performance monitoring through KPIs, reports, and inspections, ensuring asset reliability and site readiness.
• Coordinate emergency response and rescue procedures, maintaining 24/7 readiness.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and manufacturers to resolve issues, plan modernization, and oversee installations.
• Manage spare parts, documentation, schedules, and ensure customer complaints are addressed promptly.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.• Minimum 10 years’ hands-on maintenance experience with lifts, escalators, and garage doors.
• Familiarity with leading brands (Schindler, KONE, Thyssenkrupp, Mitsubishi, Otis).
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel).
