A leading Architectural Consultancy is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Urban Designer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Senior Urban Designer, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing the design and development of urban spaces, ensuring they are functional, aesthetically pleasing, and aligned with the vision of the city.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the urban design process, from conceptualization to implementation, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
• Conduct thorough research and analysis of urban areas, including site assessments, environmental impact studies, and demographic studies.
• Develop comprehensive urban design strategies, master plans, and zoning guidelines that enhance the functionality, sustainability, and livability of urban spaces.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, landscape designers, and other professionals to integrate urban design principles into project plans and proposals.
• Coordinate with government agencies, local authorities, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations and obtain necessary approvals for urban design projects.
• Provide expert advice and guidance on urban design matters, including urban revitalization, transportation planning, public spaces, and sustainable development.
• Supervise and mentor junior urban designers, providing support, feedback, and opportunities for professional growth.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, best practices, and innovations in urban design, and apply them to enhance the quality and impact of projects.
• Participate in public consultations and community engagement activities to gather input and feedback for urban design projects.
• Represent the organization at conferences, seminars, and industry events to showcase expertise and build professional networks.

Salary:
SAR 10,000 to 18,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
