Job purpose

Conduct the technical and logistical aspects of precast concrete installations, helping to ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and meets quality standards. Support the team, manage quality control tasks, coordinate procurement, and address technical challenges. Maintain a strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

Key accountability areas

Streamlining precast concrete installations:
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and stakeholders to plan installation activities, establish timelines, identify resource needs, and coordinate tasks for smooth project execution.

Site assessment and preparation:
Conduct site assessments to evaluate suitability for precast concrete, including soil, topography, and accessibility, and recommend site preparations as needed.

Technical oversight and compliance:
Ensure installations meet design specifications, engineering standards, and regulations by reviewing drawings, overseeing fabrication, and monitoring installation processes for compliance.

Safety management:
Implement and enforce safety protocols, conduct training, and address safety concerns to protect workers and the public during installations.

Construction oversight and supervision:
Supervise installation activities on-site, monitor progress, and address challenges during the installation process.

Communication and collaboration:
Ensure effective communication with contractors, suppliers, and authorities, provide project updates, coordinate activities, and resolve conflicts.

Problem solving and risk management:
Identify potential challenges and risks, propose solutions, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

Documentation and reporting:
Maintain accurate records of installation activities, including progress reports, inspections, and deviations from plans, to track milestones and ensure regulatory compliance.

Academic qualification

Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering
