JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Our client, a facility management contractor on a large commercial facility in Jeddah requires a Space Planning Deputy Manager to support the Office & Occupancy Management Team and Strategic Space Planning Team.
The main accountability is to provide Strategic Space Planning. Develops the tools necessary to make information based decisions about space occupancy and allocation. Develops practical Space Planning options for the future growth of University campus; and works with third party contractors to develop cost effective design solutions to improve the office environment. You would also be responsible for managing the preparation and submittal of all space plans and provide technical knowledge to Space Planning and Allocation staff.
You should be able to develop office AutoCAD standards using best practice applicable for existing facility services, develops measuring standards using RICS code of measuring practice, develops long-term space planning using future forecast data and occupancy trends.
REQUIREMENTS
Suitable candidates will have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in the field of commercial office design or (soft) facilities management industry with an architecture degree from an accredited University, proficiency in AutoCAD, SAP and MS office software with excellent knowledge of REVIT Architecture and 3D MAX Studio, desired, but not required. You should have excellent knowledge of IBC, International Building Code and of ADA, Americans with Disabilities Act, requirements. You should be able to demonstrate commitment to excellence, energy, imagination and strong interpersonal skills.
