JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

One of the leading healthcare facilities in Saudi Arabia - Eastern Province is looking for Nurse or Staff Nurse - Ward Department.

In this role you will be responsible for:
• Patient Care: Monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, providing wound care, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Assessment: Conducting regular patient assessments, including vital signs monitoring, pain assessments, and evaluating treatment effectiveness.
• Documentation: Maintaining accurate patient records, documenting assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Communication: Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Communicating with patients and their families to provide updates and address concerns.
• Education: Providing patient and family education regarding medications, treatments, and self-care techniques.
• Coordination: Coordinating patient admissions, transfers, and discharges. Ensuring seamless transitions of care between different healthcare settings.
• Emergency Response: Responding to medical emergencies, initiating appropriate interventions, and stabilizing patients as needed.
• Infection Control: Implementing infection control protocols to prevent the spread of infections within the ward.
• Quality Improvement: Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and optimize healthcare delivery processes.
• Team Collaboration: Working closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.

Requirements:
To be considered for this opportunity, you need to meet the following criteria:
• A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in Clinical Nursing.
• 3 years experience in Medical and Surgical Ward.
• Must be eligible to take the SCFHS exam.
• Preferably with valid SCFHS Nursing Specialist/Technician license/certificate.
• Current licensure as a professional registered nurse.
• Proficient in English
