Job description

We're looking for a detail-oriented and reliable steward to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a steward, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organization across our kitchen and food service areas. Your commitment to excellence and food safety will directly support our kitchen operations and contribute to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities:

Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils, cookware, and food service areas according to established standards

Maintain cleanliness of floors, walls, and back-of-house areas to ensure a safe and hygienic work environment

Properly wash, dry, and store dishes, glassware, and kitchen utensils in designated locations

Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment and other kitchen machinery, reporting any malfunctions promptly

Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and occupational health standards at all times

Handle and store cleaning chemicals safely, following all safety procedures and regulations

Manage waste disposal and recycling practices in accordance with organizational guidelines

Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, communicating needs to supervisors

Assist kitchen staff by organizing and restocking supplies as needed

Participate in routine inspections and maintain detailed records of cleaning activities

Support the kitchen team in maintaining an organized and efficient work environment

Adapt to shift schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

1–2 years of stewarding or kitchen support experience preferred

Food safety and sanitation certification preferred

Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene best practices

Understanding of chemical handling and safety procedures

Strong physical stamina and ability to lift and carry heavy items regularly

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Effective time management and ability to prioritize tasks

Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining consistent work standards

Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

Clear communication skills and willingness to follow instructions

Flexibility and adaptability to changing work schedules and priorities

Demonstrated commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment

Join our stewarding team in a hands-on role focused on supporting daily operations and ensuring the proper cleanliness and organization of kitchen and service areas. As a steward, you will assist in carrying out cleaning duties, maintaining hygiene standards, supporting kitchen operations, handling dishwashing activities, and responding to operational needs while supporting smooth facility operations.

You will work closely with other stewarding team members and departments to ensure service efficiency, safety, and consistency.
