JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

- Scheduling of work accountable for following project plans and schedule and ensuring the earth moving teams daily and weekly activities meet production goals related to earthwork;
- Coordination of resources- plant, people, materials, equipment;
- Ensuring that all grid levels are set out well in advance;
- Ensuring that all plant and machinery is checked and serviced daily/regularly;
- Facilitate a safe work culture and is accountable for the safety of the construction team and must understand the legal liability if the role; ensuring the construction team apply the standards for safe working conditions and are fit for work each day;
- Is accountable for ensuring that the completed work meets standards and for recommending work processes that will improve productivity and product quality;
- The preparation of reports as required by the employer; and
- Management liaison and client interface.

REQUIREMENTS

- Ensure that the earthworks are correct according to specifications;
- Ensure that he has a full understanding of the drawings and specifications he receive and to plan the construction layout accordingly;
- Conduct all measurements before the team can commence with the work;
- Normally start the day with a Site meeting to discuss the daily activities and planning.
- Record completed works to check if Production Targets are met;
- Receive the first inspection check lists of all plant and equipment daily
