JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Objectives:
Providing 1st and 2nd Tier desktop and primary network support to various international clients involved with mega projects.

Main responsibilities:
Understanding requirements of the clients in regards to their ICT vision and implementing strictly according to their standards and industry standard frameworks. This will include installation of desktops and laptops (hardware and software), network troubleshooting, bespoke client software configuration etc. Clear communication both written and spoken is a must.

Desired start date: Immediate - 1st May Start
Probation: 3 Months

REQUIREMENTS

- In-depth knowledge of various desktop operating systems including Microsoft Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8
- Basic knowledge of Windows Server 2008 & 2012 (including Small Business Server 2008 & 2011), Active Directory
- Strong knowledge of local and wide area networks, wireless networks functionality and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Remote Management support tools
- With ability to independently tackle the client and provide satisfactory solutions
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills, time management, and confidentiality required
- Characteristics include: Strong work ethic and integrity, a team player, accept responsibility, be trainable and willing to learn new products and technology, maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer satisfaction
- Knowledge of ITIL framwork, Working with users, clear and concise communication in English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
