JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
JD of tax manager for Middle East region
• Supervise Middle East, including but not limited to KSA/UAE, legal entities’ daily tax compliance work
• Manage Middle East invoices, set up and upgrade invoice system, make sure the invoice issuance and receipt deduction obliged to local tax rules;
• Design applicable tax treatment for business models and suggest tax optimization;
• Provide tax planning ideas for Middle East legal entities from headquarter perspective;
• Manage transfer pricing issues in Middle East;
• Coordinate with internal tax team and external tax agents to ensure the local business or operations comply with local tax rules;
• Build up and maintain good relationship with tax authorities and deal with any inspection, tax audit and tax dispute.
Requirements:
Requirements of the position• Bachelor degree or above, subject in finance and tax is preferred;
• Have in-depth knowledge in Middle East tax rules, as well as solid basic technical skills;
• Possess good team cooperation skills, especially cross-team cooperation activities;
• Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills, independent thinking and provide innovative solutions;
• Have strong organization and planning skills, manage and promote projects effectively and efficiently;
• E-hailing platform experiences, especially food delivery platforms, is preferred;
• Fluent in Arabic and English, good at communication and socialization.
