Teacher/Teacher Assistant

Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced teacher to work in a day care environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for working with children. The teacher will serve as a class lead, responsible for classroom planning, parent communication, and maintaining a positive learning environment.

Educational requirements

• Minimum of 60 semester hours of post-secondary credit or 2 years of academic training beyond high school.
• Bachelor’s degree in education or a related discipline is preferred.

Experience requirements

• Minimum 3 years of full-time teaching or related work experience.
• Experience in early childhood or day care settings is highly desirable.

Technical requirements

• Must have a good command of the English language (both written and verbal).
• Demonstrated ability to work in a day care or classroom environment.
• Proven capacity to manage a classroom and engage effectively with young learners.

Skills requirements

• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Serve as the main point of contact for parents and administration for the assigned classroom.
• Capable of maintaining a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment.

Certificates / qualifications

• Minimum requirement: 60 semester hours of post-secondary credit or 2 years of academic training beyond high school.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
