JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Key Responsibilities:

- Technical Leadership: Provide technical expertise and guidance to construction teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure adherence to project specifications and standards.
- Construction Planning: Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to develop construction plans, schedules, and methodologies that optimize resource utilization and minimize construction risks.
- Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC): Implement and oversee QA/QC procedures to ensure that construction activities meet the required quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
- Construction Oversight: Monitor construction progress, resolve technical issues, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to address any challenges that may arise during the construction phase.
- Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): Promote and enforce HSE policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for construction personnel and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and best practices.
- Cost Management: Work closely with project controls and cost management teams to monitor construction costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and mitigate cost overruns.
- Technical Documentation: Ensure the accuracy and completeness of technical documentation, including construction drawings, specifications, and as-built records.
- Client Interface: Serve as the primary technical interface with the client, providing regular updates on construction progress, addressing technical queries, and facilitating client inspections and audits.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of technical professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.

Experience:-
- Extensive experience in technical roles within the construction industry, preferably in large-scale industrial projects.
- Proven track record of successfully managing technical aspects of construction projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, techniques, and best practices.
- Familiarity with relevant engineering codes, standards, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Experience with construction management software and tools.
- Certification in relevant areas (e.g., PMP, LEED, PE) is a plus.
