JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Job Purpose
Perform testing and commissioning activities, ensuring the adherence to quality standards, troubleshooting technical issues, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Accountability Areas
Testing and Reporting:
- Conducting tests on relays and other equipment in accordance with the project testing plan.
- Preparing project/new equipment test reports, including updates and corrections.
- Performing functional testing as outlined in the scheme.
Quality Assurance and Troubleshooting:
- Reporting nonconformances and troubleshooting.
- Clearing and managing punch lists during factory testing and site commissioning.
Coordination and Customer Inspection:
- Coordinating testing activities during customer inspections.
Technical Support and Issue Resolution:
- Providing technical support by reviewing design documents before release.
- Resolving technical issues during factory testing/site commissioning.
Continuous Improvement and Record Maintenance:
- Initiating continual improvement efforts and maintaining records in consultation with the department manager.
- Initiating corrective and preventive actions and maintaining records in consultation with the department manager.
Site Testing and Commissioning:
- Executing site testing and commissioning activities.
Role Accountability
HR Proficiency:
- Training of sub-ordinates and forming a team to get the work effectively.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to subordinates in all aspects of their work.
- Delegate sub-ordinates in each respective assignment.
- Ensures fair distribution of tasks to maintain morale, motivation of subordinates.
Delivery:
- Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
- Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
- Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.
Problem-Solving:
- Resolve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.
Quality:
- Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.
Business Process Improvements:
- Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seeking automations opportunities as much as possible.
Compliance:
- Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.
Requirements:
Academic Qualification- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering
