The commerce industry has seen tremendous growth in recent years and has become a hotly contested space amongst leading Internet companies, and its future growth cannot be underestimated.

We are looking for passionate and talented people to join our operations team, together we can build a commerce ecosystem that is innovative, secure and intuitive for our users.

We are seeking a leader to join our team in Saudi Arabia to run the Commerce Operations team. This role will be in charge of the activities including user acquisition and conversion, content and creator management, and merchants acquisition and management. This role will be responsible for the business strategy and goal setting of the local Commerce business, the budget spending and the organization building. Collaborating with local teams to deliver results, together will build a commerce ecosystem that is innovative, secure and intuitive for our users and brands.

This role is based in our Riyadh office.

- Build and lead an operations team to achieve growth objectives and strategic goals.
- Drive business expansion by enhancing visibility and market position among sellers, creators, and buyers, positioning our platform as a premier commerce destination in KSA.
- Engage with external stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance and maintain a secure marketplace environment.
- Develop and implement a long-term strategic roadmap, guiding sellers and creators towards meeting monthly and annual targets.
- Manage P&L for all market categories, optimising revenue streams and profitability.
- Provide industry insights and leverage personal networks to ensure category success.
- Identify and nurture brand principals, distributors, and merchants to foster category growth.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration to unlock partner potential, drive brand expansion, and promote the adoption of livestream and short video formats.
- Navigate through ambiguity, adapt to changes, and influence key stakeholders to drive strategic decisions for the category.
- Break down complex issues, innovate new approaches, and develop scalable solutions.
- Utilise data analysis to gain deep insights, define business requirements, identify opportunities, and prioritise solutions.

Minimum Qualifications
- Significant experience in Commerce space; deep knowledge of the KSA market landscape, consumer demands, digital evolution and mobile transformation
- Experience of owning P&L on an ECommerce platform/marketplace
- Extensive experience in managing multi-functional team teams
- Strategic, analytic, logical with strong problem solving skills
- Fluent in English and Arabic language; Cross cultural communication and collaboration skills working cross functionally in a global working environment.

Preferred Qualifications
- Entrepreneurial experience, or with a solid understanding of content community, social media and live streaming industry
- Strong track record in leading a category and delivering against stretching performance goal
- Growth orientated mindset, self-starter with strong communication skills who can manage strategic partner relationships
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and adjust quickly to change
