JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
- To perform translation, editorial, and interpretation work (Arabic to English and vice-versa)
- To conduct research work
- To perform protocol duties
REQUIREMENTS
- University degree in the relevant field of study
- Good command of English and Arabic language
- Good translation and writing skills in English and Arabic are essential
- Ability to work as a team player
- Good organisational and interpersonal skills
- Good computer skills
- Keen eye for detail
ABOUT THE COMPANY
The Singapore Consulate-General in Jeddah was established in 1985. It was initially located at Suite 1025 Corniche Commercial Centre in Balad District.
The Consulate-General moved to its present premises located at Villa 5, Mohammed Tawfiq Al Abbasi St, Off Hera’a Street, Al-Naeem District P O Box 18294, Jeddah 21415 on 10 March 2003. The new premise is about 15 km away each from the downtown and International Airport.
